The Disney Channel will premiere a Christmas train set on Broadway in 2019.
The first stage, dubbed the “Titanic” and built for $60 million, will play through the end of the season, according to a Disney release.
The show, which is also known as “The Story of Christmas,” will debut on Broadway on December 24.
It’s expected to run through February 20, 2019.
The show will be written by Tom Hanks, who will also produce.
Disney announced a number of holiday-themed projects in 2017, including “Hobbit: The Journey Home,” which premiered on Nov. 30, 2019, and “Hogwarts: A Christmas Carol,” which opened on Dec. 12, 2019 and wrapped Dec. 25.
The Walt Disney Company also will release a new live-action film based on the story of Santa Claus, “The New Year,” which opens on Jan. 3, 2020.
