A man charged with attempting to kill a train passenger has pleaded not guilty to murder charges.
Shawn Michael Harnick, 29, of Fort Worth, Texas, appeared in a Fort Worth courtroom Wednesday for his first appearance in the case since authorities said he planned to kill the man.
The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports Harnicks attorney, Mark Dolan, told the court that HarnICK wants to “be the last person standing.”
Harnick was arrested on Aug. 29 in Fort Worth and booked into the Travis County Jail.
He was released on bond, but was arrested again on Sept. 3 and booked again on suspicion of murder.
The Fort Worth Police Department is investigating Harnacks actions, but Dolan says he wants to have him charged as a hate crime.
